Falling behind as usual, we didn't leave our driveway until about 2:00 pm Tuesday.
After travelling only 90 kms, we seen 2 major traffic accidents,
a flipped SUV on fire in the rocks , on the median on HWY 11, and
a large pavement roller that had fallen off the road, and flipped over on the ditch.
We arrived at Pancake Bay at 9:30 PM, and decided we were too tired to set up tents. We folded down seats, and rolled out sleeping bags in back of Hummer.
We watched a DVD, ( Phenomenon ) while sitting in bed eating dinner, and sippin g on a glass of wine.
Kathy and Ryder slept in truck, I ended up getting too hot and slept outside under the stars.
( with my ears wide open listening for bears!!)
